
Welcome Horizon Drivers to the 2025 Driver Appreciation Day at the ballpark.
Each year we try to create a meaningful day and event for YOU, our valued drivers.
This year we think it will be a “homerun” for those of you who attend. Four Winds fields and the South Bend Cubs is all about “the experience”
The President of the Cubs is already focused on helping us make this the BEST time you ever had at a minor league ball game.
Drivers will enjoy awesome food, fellowship, prizes, our valued vendors, recognitions on the field and on the jumbotron, custom event apparel, special activities and more.
So, save that date and come on out to the ballpark for some traditional American fun, food, and baseball! Play Ball!

Schedule:
– 8am – Event opens, all attendees enter through Gate A
All drivers will receive a wrist band, and must pick up event t- shirt, hat and name tag from the Group Hat Pickup area (see star on stadium map for location)
– 8am – Vendor area opens in center field (11 vendors -see Vendor tab)
– 9am to 10:15am – Event program (please be in your seats by 9am) General seating except for designated seating for Top 10 and Hall of Fame drivers.
– 9am to 9:10am – Horizon management speeches
– 9:10 to 9:20 – Badge of honor acknowledgements
– 9:20- 9:45 – Top 10 drivers (receive award on field)
– 9:45 to 10am – Hall of Famer drivers (receive award on field)
– 10:10 – Group picture. All drivers will remain in your seats and we will take a drone picture
Pre game : Horizon driver Nic Seiler will perform the National Anthem & Horizon driver TBD will throw out the first pitch
– 11am – Food buffet starts for 2 hours
– 11:05am – Game starts (approx. 2 hrs 20 minutes)
– 7th inning stretch – The Horizon Hall of Fame drivers will sing “Take me out to the ballgame” with the South Bends Cubs host and shown on the jumbotron
Late Registration (Fri May 2 through Tues. May 6, 3pm)
Those drivers who registered up to Friday will receive their tickets in your Cubs account by 11am on Fri May 2.
Those who wish to attend and have not registered can now do “late registration”. Please complete below and your ticket will be sent at 3pm on Tues, May 6.

Southern Style BBQ
- Southern Style BBQ Buffet: smoked beef brisket, pulled pork
- Event buffet all you can eat from 11am to 1pm, under designated tent
- homemade potato chips

Stadium & Event activities
Horizon will conduct our annual driver recognitions, awards and speeches. We will also be utilizing the stadium jumbotron and awarding drivers will be invited to come out on the field to be recognized.
Here are some of the stadium activities:
- The national anthem
Horizon Towaway Driver Nic Sieler will perform the National Anthem - First pitch
One lucky driver will be selected to throw out the first pitch, just prior to game time. - Radio broadcast booth – broadcasted on WSBT 960am and online
(2) drivers will be selected to spend ½ an inning in the radio broadcast booth, being interviewed about Horizon, driving experiences and the occupation.
The following contests will be on the field in between innings. This game is dedicated to our Horizon drivers, so all field events will include selected drivers participating in the contests.

A select group of drivers will help lead the stadium in singing this iconic ballgame classic.
How do I get my ticket(s)?
The South Bend Cubs will e-mail your ticket on Friday, May 2, to the e-mail address you entered when you registered for the event.
On May 2, your “e-ticket” will be posted to your Cubs account page, under the same e-mail address.
Your ticket and if applicable your guest ticket, will be accessible from your Cubs account page. You will need to bring your e-ticket to be scanned for entry either printed form or using your mobile device at the gate. T

Activating your South Bend Cubs account page Every ticket holder will need to have an active South Bends Cubs account page, so we recommend you activate your account today. Gate entrance
- All drivers and guests will enter at gate A
- All attendees will receive an event wristband
- Once through the gate, proceed directly to the Cubs t-shirt tent, where you will receive an event t-shirt, Cubs cap and name tag
- Hall of Fame drivers will report to the Horizon Hall of Fame tent right next to the Cubs tent for your special apparel and name tag. Hall of Fame drivers will also be escorted to your designated seating area right off the field in the best seats.
